I am HJ from the sunny little island of Singapore and if you are reading this page, it is a pleasure to e-meet you and allow me to welcome you to my humble little space on the Internet. I started this blog as an outlet for me to express myself and share my thoughts on the issues that affect the world that we live in, both at home in Singapore and around the world, along with my video gaming hobby and life in general. By writing on this blog, I am looking to hone my writing skills and get better at expressing my views and opinions.

Join me as I talk about some of the issues that affect the world that we live in, both at home in Singapore and around the world. As someone who is a firm believer in being knowledgeable about what is happening in the world around us and recognising the potential impacts that can arise from these events, I would say that there are certain issues that have to be highlighted or discussed in our society.

Moreover, I will also have posts that are dedicated to a major personal hobby of mine, which is video gaming, where I will share my thoughts and opinions on it. Expect posts that will explore certain features, ideas and practices in video gaming.

And lastly, you can expect to see posts that I consider to be my personal musings on life, where I offer my own insights based on my personal experiences of living on this beautiful planet called Earth. Despite our lives getting more hectic and busy, I still think that there is merit in taking a step back to savour the world around us, the little things in life and reminding ourselves why do we do the things that we do.

Oh, you are asking why did I pick the name of Writing with Biscuits? Well, I decided to name the blog after the food item that keeps my hunger at bay while embarking on my writing sessions. Rest assured, no biscuits were actually harmed in the making of this blog, despite a potential meaning behind Writing with Biscuits being to literally write using biscuits.
